- Portland — The Portland office of Fisher & Phillips LLP, one of the oldest and largest firms in the country representing management in the areas of labor, employment, civil rights, employee benefits and immigration law, has added Laura Jordan as an associate.
Jordan joins Fisher & Phillips after practicing employment law with another Portland firm. She has prior experience working on employment law, contract law, creditors' rights and lender liability. At Fisher & Phillips, Jordan represents management in all aspects of employment law, including discrimination, retaliation, and wage and hour claims.
“Laura’s strong background in labor and employment business litigation, as well as her experience providing practical solutions to employees, will be valuable assets to our practice,” said Clarence Belnavis, managing partner for Fisher & Phillips’ Portland office.
Jordan received her law degree from the University of Washington’s School of Law and her bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Berkley.
